ASB will combine the 28th and 29th May settlement files. Affected merchants will receive the combined payment in today’s settlement.

Worldline is aware of an issue affecting acceptance of Online EFTPOS payments from the Westpac banking app, causing transactions to expire.
Westpac are currently investigating and an update will be provided soon.

Monitoring -
Westpac has updated their Online EFTPOS authentication for Online EFTPOS.
Effective 14 May, Westpac Banking App users can no longer use their mobile number when making a payment via Online EFTPOS.
This is a Westpac-side change. Online EFTPOS remains unchanged for customers of other NZ banks, who will continue to authenticate as they do today.
Westpac customers must now:
• Enter their 9-digit Westpac Customer ID • Westpac customers cannot use their alias (nick name) associated with their Customer ID • The Alias aspect is causing customer confusion, and we have observed an increase in failed/errored transactions
A reminder of this requirement is displayed on the payment form after Westpac is selected.
We are working with Westpac to improve this issue and are actively seeking their support.
